A renovation doesn’t have to be a major undertaking.
Here’s the list of what we did to give this (already) amazing bathroom a modern update.
1. Paint — Notice we didn’t paint anything in the bathroom itself other than the door and door casing.
2. Cabinets — I took down the cabinet above the toilet and added a frame we already had. (It fit in between the tile perfectly!) Sometimes less is better.
3. Faucet — Not shown in the video is a new polished chrome Delta faucet which I love!
4. Cabinet Hardware — A few new cabinet knobs to match the faucet made a big difference. I loved these from Rejuvenation. Unique and modern.
5. Shower Curtain — The full height shower curtain panels (aka drapes I found at Home Goods!) made the biggest impact!
6. Flooring — Laminate left over from what we used in the kitchen to make it all feel cohesive.
And that’s it!
It doesn’t always take a lot (of time or money)!
What room could you do a “light” reno in to better suite your style and needs? Let me know in the comments below!
