It’s bitter sweet realizing that you’re never gonna play for the team you’ve played for your whole life for again. Nothing can take the place of all the hours of work put in, the tears shed after tough losses, or level of excitement after a crazy game winner. It hurts for it to be over after all this time, but knowing I had an impact on my teammates, coaches, and brothers will always remind me of why I love this game so much. I pray nothing but success for the future of this team. Shoutout Cody, Christian, and Luke for hoopin with and motivating me all the way from junior high to their senior year. To Coaches Khalil, Delgado, Williams, and Kyle for the lessons taught that I wouldn’t of learned without them. To my brothers Ed, Steve, Joel, Spencer, Miguel, and Jake for giving it there all every night making the hard times worth it. To the future, KJ, Sawyer, Kaden, Kaleb, Prestyn, Carter, and Isaac, for looking to me for guidance and trusting my advice. To my little brother Aric for always making me want to be the best version of myself. And finally, to God for always remaining faithful and being there for me to go to whenever I needed Him.
