100 mile elk. It took nearly four straight weeks of hard hunting in four units, with nearly 150 miles of hiking in rough country, but on our last possible day to hunt @bgomez307 and I put it all together and took two cows simultaneously at 455 and 650 yds. An absolute grind of a first hunting season and I still can’t believe we pulled it off in the end. Massive thanks to @bgomez307 for showing me the ropes and to @somewhere.syd for being an incredibly gracious host and loaning me her husband for the month. Also couldn’t have done it without @mariah_ollive supporting me and putting up with my shenanigans. Can’t wait to do it again next year and hopefully we can just shoot something opening day near the truck because my knees are donezo.
