Yesterday I went to my first dance class in over 2 years and I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus today🙃 I trained in dance for over 15 years and being a dancer was a huge part of my identity. Although I chose not to pursue performing as a career, I still often feel like a huge part of me is missing. Doing a routine like this is what lights me up. I enjoyed every minute of the class yesterday because there was no pressure to be perfect. It was tough, exposing and scary and I messed up loads but instead of putting myself down I just smiled. It was so good to be back!
