Our Out of Africa has come to an end. 🤍 This has been the trip of a lifetime with my favorite girl. I went back and forth on taking her on a trip like this. It’s a lot of travel, and a lot of exposure to experiences she’s never witnessed before at such a young age. But now looking back, I am immensely grateful I did. She learned so much. We learned so much. This experience is something that will shape not only me, but her, for years to come. To be reminded to help others, to listen, to share... and just how strong a community can really be when it comes together. This trip was a reminder to myself, you don’t have to go to Africa to be the change you want to be. You can help someone in your town, your city, your own state. Donate. Give back. One person can’t change everything, but it’s a start. And also... just take the trip. Do it. Don’t look back. I know it’s daunting. But if you want to take the special trip with someone, anyone, just do it. And never look back.❤️
