I will not say, do not weep- for not all tears are born of evil.” If you haven’t heard: Covid is a petty bitch. Our closing night performance of “Assassins” is cancelled. And with that, comes the official end to our 2 year journey here at @eastwestplayers. Though the show ended in a fashion none of us imagined, I can’t help but feel a sense of triumph. We did it, y’all. Despite everything that we endured, we did this show and we did it well. You’ve inspired me. You’ve challenged me. You’ve loved me. Things far more valuable than any single performance could offer. There are enough memories to last a lifetime, yet it still doesn’t feel like enough.
