The teasers for the August @laurelandreed box have started to pop up and skincare enthusiasts like me are going gaga over the contents, but I would like to rewind a bit and talk about the May Box as I got my hands on these products in July. I was super excited when I saw the box featuring products from @dafnaskincare and @munskincare along with a box of reusable cotton pads as it had the potential to be a perfect summer box. I started using the products the minute I got them. Dafna Moisture+ Light is a lightweight, creamy, non-sticky, non-greasy hydrating and moisturizing lotion with nourishing oils and plant extracts like the calming Calendula flower, refreshing Aloe juice, Fig fruit extract, Hyaluronic acid etc. Being light (the brand has a plus version too) the lotion is fast absorbing and leaves no oily residue making it absolutely perfect to layer with serums and sunscreens without pilling. Works perfectly if you have oily skin. I have dry skin and I love that this can be layered and re-applied as often as I need. The bio essential oils like Neroli and Rosemary provide the much needed aromatic experience. The fruity-floral blend is quite pleasing. Anarose Hydrating Rose Toner is a Japanese inspired toner designed to hydrate, soften and balance skin’s pH after cleansing. With a lovely formula that consists of soothing Aloe Juice, Bulgarian Rose water, calming Prickly Pear extract, exfoliating Willow Bark for that natural glow, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, antioxidant rich Goji Berry and a bouquet of floral extracts (Rose, Jasmine and Daisy) that smooths the skin. This toner has a pH range of 4.4-4.5 . I have been using this toner after my cleansing before using an essence. It is not too sticky. I don’t really enjoy watery stuff that feels sticky. Lastly, the box also had Reusable Cotton and Bamboo rounds, made from natural plant based cotton and bamboo fibers. Machine washable, this user friendly product has multiple uses and has replaced my disposable cotton pads for 80% of the tasks.
