✨GETTING READY✨ Something to think about.... Biggest thing that I tell my couples is that I will work with whatever timing you set for it. Keep in mind that the amount of time set for getting ready (which includes detail photos) really sets the tone for the rest of the day. I highly recommend my couples to reserve more time before the ceremony for getting ready photos for many reasons. Many things can happen on a wedding day, you may be running late to your venue if you are getting your HMUA somewhere else, bridal party may arrive late. There may be some inevitable situations that pushes your time back. Plan for those what if’s, give yourself an extra cushion. But more importantly, your wedding day honestly goes by so quickly do you want to rush through the beginning part. Take the time to spend leisurely with your bridal party close family, really be in the moment instead of worrying about TIME. If it’s important to you it’s important to capture detail photos. It does take times. For your first looks (bridal party/father/fiancé etc). It’s a special moment, embrace it. Set time to take some portraits before the ceremony with your perfect hair and make-up, outfits nicely cleaned and pressed, This is a game chamber.
