Thank you to the team @battersea for making me feel so welcome today. For anyone who knows me you know that I’m animal obsessed and desperately want to help support rescue animals where and when I can, I have a Romanian rescue dog named Walter, whom I adore, and a rescue cat named poppy. Being able to visit Battersea, meet some of the team and also get to know some of the beautiful dogs and cats (big shout out to “Biscuit” the kitten, we took to each other immediately) was such a great experience. The work they do at Battersea is amazing and the love, care and the lengths they go to help rehabilitate some of the animals is incredible. I was lucky enough to be shown around the veterinary hospital and they had already performed 16 operations that day. They also work alongside @streetvetuk_ helping lots of animals in need.
