In the subject line, include RSVP Glass Mosque The Glass Mosque is a collaboration among composer Vijay Iyer, poet Bhanu Kapil, author Fred Moten, and artist Shahzia Sikander. They will gather to discuss rethinking categories that have historically determined the symbolic meaning of the mosque. The event will be moderated by Yasmeen Siddiqui (Minerva Projects Director) and Sara Reisman (Chief Curator / Director of National Academician Affairs at the National Academy of Design) and recorded so that a document of the event can be made publicly available after the fact.
