“This Kid is trying to kill me!” is all I could manage to say as we were flying past fellow runners up the Boulevard. Little did I know, my pacer and High School Cross Country athlete, Collin Snyder, had taken it upon his 16 year self to get me across the finish line in sub 29 hours. He was so kind, caring and patient and how do you say “no” or “I can’t” to a young runner so excited to be a part of something so special.
