400 Central - Downtown St. Pete
Foundation work proceeds on Florida’s tallest tower along the Gulf, that is until One Tampa moves forward. 400 Central in the Downtown St. Pete District will rise 46-floors topping out at 515 feet upon its completion date in 2024. The developer Red Apple Group earlier this year announced the surpassing of $150 million in pre-sales for the $400M high-rise. 301 condominium units spanning across the building will range from 1,277 Sf to 5,600 Sf.
• A series of 89 cylindrical drilled foundation shafts, ranging from 48 inches in diameter and 87 feet deep to six feet in diameter and 166 feet deep to support the tower is currently part of the scope of work. These foundation elements will be drilled, and then filled with steel reinforcing and high-strength concrete, rather than being pounded into the ground – minimizing the disturbance to the project’s downtown neighbors.
• Residential amenities total 36,000 Sf including a 46th-floor sky observatory, indoor/outdoor professional grade wellness center, on-site concierge service, a 16,000 sq. ft. landscaped seventh-floor rooftop terrace with landscaped sundeck, resort style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, outdoor kitchen, putting green, bocce court, fire pit, and dog walking area. Unit pricing started in the $900,000s with the current highest-priced listing at $5.7M.
