One of my favorite (sort of random) moments on a wedding day:⁠ ⁠ I ALWAYS catch the groom touching his new ring. He's getting used to its weight on his hand, and for some reason, I LOVE catching him in the act of feeling it out.⁠ ⁠ The bride has typically been wearing her engagement ring for months (even years) and is used to the feeling of it, but it's a new experience for the groom. ⁠ ⁠ There's something about it that marks the specialness of the moment, and I adore that.
