Today, my best friends little sister, is being laid to rest. Helene, @sashafabulous was my little sister too. She was my little sister @lovelablanc BFF too! God aligned these beautiful relationships perfectly. 4 little girls from Gary, that He placed together, creating a bond like no other. It’s now eternal! 🕊️When Marlene (my Beanie) passed unexpectedly in 2008, a piece of me left with her. I couldn’t fathom Helene leaving so soon. She was at the top of her game! A wonderful mother, an incredible entrepreneur/business owner, an artist, a leader, a comedian, she was a FORCE! So many talents! I hate this. 💔 My heart aches for her family - especially Mr. and Mrs. Powers, who are now burying their 2nd child. It just isn’t supposed to be this way. My heart aches for their sister Alicia, please know your sisters are no longer here in the flesh, but we are!! Here’s what I do know - these sisters are together again! Beanie & Weenie! Yes, those were their nicknames! With their big boisterous personalities, they made an everlasting impact on this world! Their work is done here, yet I’m so grateful that GOD’S LOVE IS ETERNAL. That we will carry them in our hearts forever. That as deeply as this hurts, God is a comforter, a healer, a mender of hearts. May you rest in love, my dearest Helene. We love you!
