Once a man causes an unwanted pregnancy, the woman doesn’t get to decide whether or not to deal with the pregnancy. Eventually, she has to make choices: about continuing the pregnancy, abortion access, medical costs, if she has the resources to raise a child, adoption options, societal expectations, and so much more. The man can opt out of this enormous physical and psychological burden. Men carry, abort, suffer complications from, labor, deliver, and die from 0 percent of unwanted pregnancies.
