Catch-22 (not just one of my favorite novels of all time) but also the title for this post. This first pic, looking down into the camera, and over the reflective pool water, is so flattering in some ways, but also proves gravity is in full force at the age of 38. I know everyone will say only I see it, but the lines around my mouth come from the natural pull of the earth as I’m angling my face down. I’m pointing it out; because, I could have chosen one of the other pics in the carrousel, but I really like this pic, and I’m trying to say it’s okay to post a pic that we don’t see as perfect. You can also see my freckles on my nose, which I think is cute here, so let’s go... 💐 This is my second look using the new @nomadcosmetics Provence Palette, and why I chose to post this look, even though it’s extremely simple and maybe underwhelming for some, is because; I wanted to show that colorful palettes don’t have to mean high drama and ostentatiousness. You can create a subtle, simple look by buffing and blending out a matte and popping a shimmer on the lid. And, if you want a little more punch... add a bold lip. I think the effect is striking.
