got lots of new friends on here so i thought i would share my progress 🌱 i started my wellness journey in 2020 (pre-pandemic) because i knew the lifestyle i was living was not good for me physically and mentally. i am only 4’10 and i was ~200lbs and was binge drinking most of my weekends throughout college. i slowly started to go to the gym and being more mindful of what i was consuming. at the beginning of the pandemic i worked out consistently & started creating a balanced diet. as gyms started to reopen, i went back in determined to get stronger. my body composition did a complete 180. while i had lost weight initially, i began to gain muscle and lose fat as i trained keeping progressive overload in mind and just tracking my protein intake. flash forward to today and i can say i truly believe i am creating the happiest and strongest version of myself. weight doesn’t mean everything, but there is 60lb difference between these pictures. more importantly, my confidence level between these is completely different. i never thought i could begin to love the body i was given after spending so many years criticizing every piece of it. throughout this journey i’ve realized how much it truly does for me from lifting weights to hugging my mom and trying new foods with my boyfriend. i am so grateful for my past self for pushing me out of my comfort zone.
