6 MONTHS POST-ACCUTANE You guys asked for another post-Accutane update, so here it is— I am officially 🤍SIX MONTHS🤍 off of Accutane! These images showcase my skin at month one of Accutane, month six of Accutane, and six months post-Accutane (you can always see how pale I am from the winter ... 🤣) I’m so happy with my skin! I have come SO far in my journey and I don’t even remotely regret my decision to go on Accutane. Those huge, painful cysts are but a memory now! My scarring and hyperpigmentation have pretty much healed as much as they will naturally, so now it’s time to start integrating some retinol! HAVE I STARTED GETTING ACNE AGAIN? sure, but only super small whiteheads (like seriously, microscopic). These have been caused by not washing my mask enough, trying out new skincare, and testing out different hair products. They resolve super quick and don’t grow into cysts! I have a wide variety of scar types that have created different sorts of indentations on my skin, but I’m happy regardless! These sort of things can be resolved with microneedling should I choose to take that on! I have NO residual side effects (seriously, I’m fine!)
