Representing for &Mother, I am so proud of the work we are doing to break down barriers that limit a woman’s choice to pursue and thrive! Motherhood should not be a barrier to success. I took to the trails at the WMN’s trail 1⁄2 marathon in my @altrarunning Superior 4.5’s with my three littles on the sideline that were able to witness the value add of motherhood. My non-profit organization, @andmother_org and its supporting sponsors helped make participation in trail races accessible to lactating parents and caregivers, for more info check it out at @andmother_org. There was available childcare, lactation space prior to participation, halfway through the WMN’s trail 1⁄2 marathon and at the finish. Our goal... Keep the party going, let’s standardize access for birthing parents, lactating parents and caregivers to participate in life wholly. We know sports is a microcosm of what’s happening in the world, and if we can do it in sports, we can do it anywhere. #DreamMaternity.
