Birthday Thoughts 💭 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1.) God is real. Though our world continues to try to push Him and His ways out of our society, His existence and presence are very near to those who choose to seek Him. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2.) Marriage is hard. It will take everything you have to keep it joyful, but there is nothing better than having a woman who loves you, cares for you, who won’t give up on you, and who sees you for who you are at your inner most depths. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3.) Children are a gift from God. Children ought to be cherished, sharpened, and allowed to grow at their own pace. If you allow yourself to, you can see God’s existence in your children every day.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 4.) Use the term “friend” less. Most people are acquaintances. Acquaintances are usually seasonal, but friendships last beyond the changing of the tides. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 5.) Your career is important, but it’s not worth causing disruption in your home or heart. You will never say at the end of your life “I wish I had worked more.” But you might say “I wish had worked less.” ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 6.) Stand up for your beliefs amongst a society that wants to silence those who don’t agree.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 7.) I am still so proud of my wife and I for not getting something put into us that we were not comfortable with. Looking back, I’m not sure if there has been a time in my life with so much societal pressure to do something, & I’m thankful that we can look back on this & tell our children of a time that decided to think & act for ourselves. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 8.) “The loudest man in the room is often the weakest man in the room.” Those who have true confidence in themselves often walk softly, while understanding their true power and wisdom.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 9.) Read the Bible, & commune with the Holy Spirit. There is a lot of nonsense that is spread throughout media, in schools, at dinner tables. However, if I told you that there is a God who left us everything we needed to know about the world and ourselves, would you tune in, or tune Him out?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 10.) God is a rewarder. He rewards true faithfulness. He rewards repentance. He rewards those who seek Him, who listen to Him, and who follow His commands.⁣ ⁣ Continued in comments ⬇️
