Wow what a weekend !!! First off congratulations to everyone that competed over the weekend 🙌 And thankyou to everyone that come to watch the show and support all the athletes across all categories How am I feeling ? Common question being fired at me right now . And what happened? So I'm actually feeling great , like seriously great , of course it didn't turnout how I wanted it to, we all compete to win of course , but there was a few factors as to why I didn't look my best and I don't disagree with the judges decision so there are no sour feeling here at all ! Unfortunately I wasn't as FULL as I have turned up for the last 4 shows this year, we tried a different approach in peak week and it seemed to be going well, my tan for prejudging was way too light which washed me out alot more being flat , I think my body wasn't soaking up the carbs like it normally does due to being very sick at the beginning of peak week but I chose to carry on and compete so I'm not using this as an excuse. I came in fuller ,harder and darker tan for finals but it wasn't judged as seen on the score cards The guys that placed in the top 5 ( I was 6th ) I am super happy for as they are a great bunch of athletes and clearly worked extremely hard to bring the look they all did. We (Ben and I) have pulled so many positives from this show although the placing wasn't great we have gained alot more than winning in terms of information for next prep (Olympia prep) I haven't let this knock me mentally and I do believe this will help us bring a better package come December. (also glad this happened so alot of people can stop assuming I will just win every show, not going to happen in the pro league) Note , I do NOT blame my coach Ben for this weekend, we are a team, I am the one that steps on stage so I am responsible for how I look on the day just as much as he is, it wasn't a smooth prep and I actually want to thank him because if I didn't have him I wouldn't of got in the top 10 (1st call outs)
