Yellowhammer Fund is proud to join the efforts of @sotx4rj, @solidarityengineering and @latinainstitute to sponsor over 400 Christmas toys and hygiene items for migrant children displaced by Title 42 in Mexico. If you are unaware, Title 42 is a Trump-era order that has been used to deny people their right to request asylum in the US and to rapidly expel millions to their home countries. The displacement of hundreds of thousands of people from their homes and shelter has created a humanitarian crisis that is being addressed solely by the kindness of community members and cross-border grassroots efforts. No one should be denied their human right to live, to thrive and parent with dignity and safety. Our communications manager, Denni, who is also part of @sotx4rj, joined our partners in distributing gifts to Camp Rio and Camp Senda De Vida in Reynosa, Tamaulipas this week.
