A Tribute to John Our mayor John liked to call himself MAM’s landlord, and he was a great landlord at that! But he was so much more. He was a mighty partner in MAM’s development and our true-blue champion. Under John’s leadership, MAM and the City collaborated in building the Missoula Art Park to expand the Museum’s footprint outside. John showed up to help MAM commemorate every landmark achievement and celebration for 20 years, gracing us with his always insightful and often quirky perspective, his heartfelt support, and his humor, always.
