We’ve done it! One year of breastfeeding!! & as part of the @tommeetippeeaustralia #TheTruthIs campaign I also gotta say... I don’t love breastfeeding. I just don’t...I’ve never breastfed in a white lacy dress upon a mountain top with windswept hair... Mostly it’s been me heavily sweating, having really strong B.O, leaking everywhere & sitting playing with my boobs trying to figure out which one I fed from last. Or, just squeezing my nipple to see how far across the room I could get my milk! It hasn’t be glamorous, it hasn’t been easy. It’s been hard & exhausting & painful - not just the cracked nipples at the beginning, but the mastitis, her little fingers pinching my nipples - not to mention her TEETH! But has it also been special...? Yes. And will I probably miss it...? Yes. But here we are, 12months of Breastfeeding & although I don’t love it, I’m still allowed to be proud of that ❤️ #TommeeTippee
