We’re takin’ it to the top today with two legendary songwriters and performers, @willienelsonofficial and @jasonisbell. ⚡️ There would be no ‘Live From Austin, TX’ were it not for Willie Nelson. He started it all in 1974, performing on the original pilot episode, and has been a large part of ACL history ever since. He's appeared on more programs than any single artist, but this particular show (recorded on September 6, 1990) captures him and the family band at their best. This one-time vinyl edition is pressed on Whiskey River Swirl, and limited to 1000 copies worldwide. Although Jason Isbell was already known during his time with Drive-By Truckers, his solo career sparked with his first release, ‘Sirens of the Ditch’ offered today on Natural with Opaque Brown & Translucent Green Swirl deluxe vinyl (limited to 2000 worldwide). Shortly after, releasing ‘Live At Twist and Shout,’ debuting his new backing band, The 400 Unit. Recorded at a Twist & Shout in-store, the EP serves as a significant artifact documenting the nascent stage of Isbell's solo career. Pressed on Root Beer Swirl & limited to 2000 copies worldwide. link in bio ✨
