happy mother’s day to all those who mother. my mom has been with me since the day i became a mother to cleo, was the third person to hold her after alex and i, and then even went back home to turn around and drop off a homemade korean post partum recovery meal, including miyeok guk, a seaweed soup w nutrients to help your body produce breast milk and restore. i’ve only ever known what mothering looks like from all the immense love and care she showered on me. and i’m so incredibly lucky and grateful to have had such a role model for cleo and a grandma for her to grow up with. 💓
