still trying to process last night’s @eastsidevoices event @southbankcentre hosted by the mother of ESV @hels_lee and my stunning co-contributors @miss_zing @clairekohda + Will Harris! So gorgeous to celebrate the paperback release of @eastsidevoices perfectly timed with the start of the second ever East and South East Asian Heritage month here in the UK together with so many members of our wide community in person! I don’t think I’ve ever been in a space so sweet, so welcoming and so earnest, I felt like I was going to explode with love! To be able to connect with so many over the things that truly make us human: the loves, the losses, the laughs - was so beautiful. For those who cried with me as I blubbered away on stage, looking up and seeing you cry back at me, I felt you in my soul! Thank you to everyone who came, waited to get their books signed and who shared their experiences with us from the heart - I’ll never forget it!
