• 🚨 sales to staff follow up 🚨 • a few weeks ago I decided to give back to the team that has helped grow Almost Home flawlessly for two years by donating food, coffee , merch sales for a full 24 hours back to them • I asked the community for help ; for support ; to show the employees washing dishes ; cutting veggies ; baking biscuits ; making food behind the scenes that they are appreciated and recognized • and by commitment to them from our customers ; boy did the whole town / community show them love • our little quiet corner in the middle of lincroft did $10,000 in sales in one day • All of which was dispersed between every employee no matter part time or full time • I say it time and time again • Almost Home is built different ; the LOCATION isn’t a GOLD MINE • but what we’ve built in such a short time span is something special ; and 99.9% is because of the FAMILY thats joined me in fulfilling a vision of feeding and caffeinating our customers with quality and comfort • I can’t say this enough I started this journey after riding my bike from Florida to NJ by myself with a vision of something cool and quiet to relax • but what I’ve learned is it can be so much more ; do so much more ; employ so many more ; and positively enhance many more • now many may laugh with that vision or call me crazy • because like Jack says • the misfits ; the rebels ; the trouble man • round heads in square holes • because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world • are the ones who do • and it might start ; one latte at a time ; one biscuit at a time ; one Almost Home at a time but NONE of that IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU ! • . .
