Hospital in Alexander Bay. Alexander Bay - Northern Cape. We arrived at Alexander Bay where the Orange river meets the ocean. We spent all but 30 minutes in this village before having to continue. This is what I managed to photograph here in that time. Its a brutal landscape and life does not seem easy here and the elements reign. I grew up in a similar environment being surrounded by the majesty of the Namib desert dunes, but Alexander Bay is next level, almost abandoned diamond country.
