My new business partner needs no introduction. @christiebrinkley has spent most of her life as the epitome of natural beauty. The iconic supermodel believes not in anti aging but in aging beautifully and gracefully. I was excited to hear that Christie was using @sblabeauty wands and seeing some incredible results. The wands were given to Christie by one of the women closest to her who was and still is a big fan of the formulations and application we have worked so hard to create. When I first spoke with Christie, I was humbled by her knowledge about my brands, career and the products she used that I created over the course of many years. What resonated most with me is Christie’s desire to be a partner and to work on product development as well as create a community and safe platform for women to talk to us, and share with us what aging beautifully means to them. Christie’s desire to share her beauty and lifestyle beliefs and routines so openly with me and others spoke to me and how I imagined the future of SBLA Beauty and the conversations I want to have with women to elevate and empower our current and future loyal customers. I’ve also watched Christie dance around her kitchen on her birthday and on vacation with her children and their significant others. Her devotion to them, and family values seems to bring her the most joy and that is something we share. We have a lot of work ahead and as we evolve into what I imagine will be a very exciting new philosophy about how to have a deeper connection with women all over the world, I cannot think of a better partner.
