I haven’t done one of these in a looooooong time, so here you go. Hello nice to meet you! I’m Victoria, the person behind @atyourleisurenyc 😄I’ve lived in NYC for 7 years now (6 years in Manhattan and a little over a year now in Brooklyn), and been in 3 apartments/neighborhoods during that time span (UES, Chelsea, and now Bed Stuy.) I work in marketing for a luxury fashion e-commerce retailer by day, and try to go to as many restaurants/bars/fun events in the city by night and on the weekends. I actually started this account in January 2021 initially just as a way to promote atyourleisurenyc.com (check it out in the link in my bio!), my online food/travel blog that was my peak pandemic lockdown passion project. This IG (and later Tiktok - also atyourleisurenyc on there!) took on a life of it’s own however, and now here we are, two years later ☺️ I started with a goal to just reach an audience of 1,000, but have gained so much more in the form of a community with you all. I love being able to connect with other New Yorkers, restaurants, small businesses, bars, entrepreneurs, and people around the world on common interests while honing a creative outlet filled with good food, cool bars, cute stores, amazing places, and new experiences. I love sharing cool under-the-radar places I find with you, and I hope that some of it inspires you to break out of your normal routine to check them out when you can.
