This photo is by far my favorite from the Tesla Challenge. It captures one of the most touching moments I’ve ever had while amidst a big effort. Our dear friend @lexavishur surprised me after flying in from New Jersey to help crew and pace. She arrived on Day 2 as I was struggling to find any silver linings to continuing to move forward. Her presence lifted my spirits and quickly made everything seem manageable. During the Tesla Challenge, as with any big effort, themes began to emerge. One of the biggest themes over the course of those 3+ days was the importance of community - @everettfitch does such a great job illustrating this in the film. So many people sacrificed their time to assist me in this audacious effort, and I would have never made it to the finish line without them. Thank you, Alexis and everyone else.
