Did I win? No. Did I expect to? Also, no. 😂In this division that is ever-growing and getting more & more competitive, I knew it would be a tough battle. My goal going into this show was to be in the Top 5. Which we accomplished! ✨ My other goal, was to prove to myself that I still belong in this division and to redeem myself from a mediocre showing earlier this year at The Pittsburgh Pro. Besides the Olympia last year, Pittsburgh was the first show as an IFBB professional where I was not in the first call out, and.... deservingly. Generally I am pretty private on social media, I post more doggy tik toks and funny memes than I do about myself. But for context, a few months prior to Pittsburgh, my dad had passed - which is by far the worst pain I have ever experienced. I was also going through a lot of stress with my business and because I was not mentally clicked in as I usually would be, my physique did not respond the same as usual. As much as it sucked, I NEEDED this lesson; a lesson I often preach to clients but haven’t experienced myself. But, I genuinely believe we face adversity and tough situations to help us grow & evolve - there is always a silver lining! ☺️ With that being said, on to the next!
