These 3 things have happened to couples more times than I can count... . Save for later because you’ll need a reminder! . Okay - you are planning your wedding and then problems arise! * Setting a restrive budget * Reaching out to the “top listed” vendors * Became their own vendors. Let’s break these points down a bit. * Setting a restive budget allows possible disappointment with vendors. Of course, you need to stay within budget, but I recommend using broad percentages when it comes to wedding vendors. For example, 20-30% of your budget should go to flowers, not necessarily (at most) $3,000. * Second, if you are only reaching out to the hop listed vendors on google or the knot... know that you might just be reaching out to those who are paying for that “top spot.” I recommend casually looking up vendors on social media and then reaching out when you feel like you found a good match. * Then becoming your own vendor. Yes, feel free to DIY things, but also make sure that you are allowing your wedding vendors to be professionals. Allow them to do their job so you can relax. Have any questions? .
