Facing Life is now on display at the @sfpubliclibrary’s main branch! Head up to the 5th floor and visit The Bridge, an adult literacy center, to see the first ever Facing Life installation. Created by photographer @be_dizzle and myself (and backed by the @pulitzercenter), Facing Life is a multimedia documentary project about people who are adjusting to life after serving significant portions of life sentences in prison. After time served and changes to laws in California, the eight people featured in Facing Life (and thousands of others) are returning to a very changed society.
