Congrats to my G, the BFG (big friendly giant), the man, the myth, the @og.mammoth on dropping his Opus Magnum!!! This record was conceived at the end of the long Melbourne lockdowns at the Reindeer Lodge in Tanjil Bren, population 6 and signified for us and all the homies who came thru, a new beginning. When I first heard mammoth I bugged out, he’s butter tone and flow, he’s unapologetic way of being transparent with how he really feels and his unique voice/accent instantly took me back to where I grew up in Broadmeadows. I later found out he grew up in Broady too.. The connection got deeper as I got to know him more, and found he was a old soul with a keen ear and taste for music, as we’d exchange and geek on old jazz records and rap. Mammoths vision and energy is contagious, and I’m so excited for y’all to hear and watch him grow. Congratulations again homie and thank you for letting me be a part of your journey!!!
