TOAST INSIDER · Ravinder Bhogal Whilst she didn't always dream of working in food, Ravinder Bhogal found her way to cooking. Her mother spent time preparing dinner for her family each day, and eventually allowed a young Ravinder to help. After working as a journalist, she entered "The F Word", a tv show hosted by Gordon Ramsey, and beat over 9,000 women to win. She has since worked in kitchens across London, including at Caravan and in pop-ups, and has also spent time working with private chefs. In 2016, after 6 years of cooking, it was time to open her own restaurant, Jikoni in London’s Marylebone. Mina Holland speaks to Ravinder for the #TOASTmagazine.
