I truly believe that everyone should feel a sense of belonging in the backcountry. That’s why I’m excited to announce Breaking Trail: a @backcountry project to make the outdoors more inclusive by working together with a cohort of advocates to break down barriers people face in both accessing and feeling welcomed in the outdoors. We safely joined the GOAT team on the ancestral lands of the Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute) back in February to kick off Breaking Trail. There we received a collective taste of an outdoors where the full spectrum of people are welcome, safe, and represented.
