X-Line was designed in 1977 by Niels Jørgen ­Haugesen. He really put his modernist ­heritage to use and created both a beautiful yet highly functional chair. The X becomes the binding force for the ­construction and the use of perforated steel was groundbreaking at this time, pioneering the high-tech era. It truly is a design icon and we’re so proud to have worked on the relaunch by ­Magnus Olesen in 2022, a design firm that still has its factory and production in Denmark!
