Surreal Moment. I remember crying when I first walked in to the gallery with all the pieces up on the wall, they really came to life! Thank you so much for everyone who showed up and supported my first solo Exhibition. Never in my wildest dreams did I think id be exhibiting 25 of my collages and even pushed myself to create large scale ones. I made most of these collages over the years with my makeshift tiny desk, on the floor, at my friends place while I was couch surfing, wherever I went I would try to find a small space to create because it helped me express myself. A big big thank you to @zalfa_halabi who pushed me to showcase my work and be confident enough to do so. With several missed opportunities and setbacks, I felt let down. But I had to remind myself that I’m good enough for me and thats all that matters. And Im so glad that is has brought me here to this point. Thanks to my family and friends for the support💙.
