dear pavas, Walking into this mission trip, I was completely unaware of the struggles the people of Pavas face—but even more so, of the love that lives there. pavas, an extremely impoverished corner of costa rica, has shown me in so many ways how god can shine in the darkest of places. the HOPE center showed me that the kids living in pavas are full of joy despite everything. these kids are truly some of the happiest people. the hope center is a ray of sun in such a dark place. i am so grateful to have served in costa rica and been able to see just how amazing god is!
