Montana and Israel in their desert haven before their baby girl, Pastel, came earth side 🕊 Some of my favorite work was created this year because I just didn’t have any intent of sharing it. I was only shooting for the humans in front of me, not for myself or any other audience’s eyes. Selling your art to an audience can really mess with your creative process and ego, taking away the sharing aspect of my work for the past year has completely reshaped my relationship with photography and how I hold space for my clients & myself. I honestly didn’t think I could have more gratitude for this little corner of my life, letting go of my own expectations of myself as a working artist has been so freeing.
