I remember the first time I really met you. It was on West Peachtree and you were jumping out your XJ Jaguar, coming from the gym with your lululemon fit. You were 28, making over 7 figures combined with the love of your life at the time. Working on some pretty dope projects and most importantly your family was proud of you, so you didn’t see the need for change. Up until this point, you felt it was the life you should live. The one you grew up believing would bring you the most happiness & security. But then there was the other side. The darker side we’ve talked about before, the side you used to run from talking to me about. It took a lot to hide it from everyone, most people still don’t know a lot of it. Remember how you sat on your bed and stared out the window for a while that day? You could hear the highway humming, the window was cracked. You fell to the floor and you cried alone. That moment you decided to change your life. Leave all that you knew behind for the unknown, but you knew you had to. That was about 7 years and 19473695837 rollercoasters ago. I’m proud of you, for every fucking part of your story. Every tear, every laugh, every argument, every hard lesson. I couldn’t be more proud of you.
