Every time I look at these faces, I see myself. I see their stories and think about how easily it could become my story. Being Black in America is scary, frustrating, and exhausting. I’m tired of seeing my beautiful people being murdered by racists white people who think that our lives don’t matter. I’m even more tired of seeing the killers getting only a slap on the wrist after they’ve taken a black persons life! It’s disgusting that we live in a country where the president doesn’t even feel that we matter. We’re all just “THUGS” in his racist white eyes. It’s truly sad. OUR BEAUTIFUL BLACK LIVES MATTER.
