While you might know us primarily as whisky lovers🥃, we also very much enjoy our food, and Susan particularly likes fine dining 🍽️ So you can imagine our excitement when Johnnie Walker Princes Street announces a collaboration of cocktail and culinary experience with 2 Michelin-starred Raby Hunt Restaurant 🤩 Curated by James and Maria Close, and JW Princes Street Head Bartender Miran Chauhan ✨ There are 3 flights: The Four Corners menu focuses on the landscapes of the four integral distilleries of the iconic blend, Glenkinchie, Clynelish, Cardhu, and Caol Ila, with locally grown and foraged ingredients from the naturally occurring flora and fauna 💠 As a bolt-on there is also a Seasonal pairing on rotation, and a Johnnie Walker Blue Label pairing 🎩 Naturally we went for the full experience 😎 Seasonal - Johnnie Walker Spring Blend 🔸 Prawn Tostada • Watermelon Spritz Glenkinchie 🔸Beef Tartare • Hedgerow Aquavit Clynelish 🔸 Aguachile Oyster • Coastline Amaro Caol Ila 🔸Quail Ceaser • Cliff Edge Vermouth Johnnie Walker Blue Label 🔸 Johnnie Walker Croque Monsieur • Umami Soda Cardhu 🔸 Apple Cremeux • Sparkling Orchard Wine Every dish and cocktail are already stunning on its own, and even more amazing when paired together 😋 Our favourite pair was the Beef Tartare with Hedgerow Aquavit, which was crisp and sweet with an incredible flavour combination of dried herbs and tea, thyme and rosemary 💯🔥 Other standouts were the Prawn Tostada, Oyster, Croque Monsieur, and their respective cocktail pairings ❤️ Oh and did we mention how beautiful the restaurant is?! 😍 Thank you Miran, Reece, Iain and the rest of team for looking after us!
