@TheSkateparkProject (founded by @TonyHawk) has partnered with @ginew_usa and @tactics to release a limited edition t-shirt and bandana (that I was asked to design! ) with the proceeds going to support the creation of a re-designed skatepark on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Central Oregon. The goal of this project is to raise awareness of the positive impacts of skateboarding in the lives of youth while providing a space that further supports skateboarding within the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. I got my first skate deck when I was 14yrs old. It wasn't a fancy brand or anything, it was a NASH (not even sure if they still make those) deck, neon green that I i got a Wal-mart. We didnt' have skate park in the small town in Oklahoma -- so we road on asphalt. So excited to be a small part of this project!
