Giving the spotlight to the makeup duo I've been using lately! Sleek and minimal design, I'm talking about the @juicebeauty Phytopigments Illuminating Primer and Flawless Serum Foundation. The primer feels silky on the skin, the texture is lightweight and I appreciate the luminous glow it gives. Has a nice sheen but is still subtle enough for a daily makeup look. Must shake well before applying. The serum foundation has a liquid-y texture (literally feels like a watery serum - must shake well before each use to mix the Age Defy Serum and Foundation). It gives a good amount of coverage (I'd say medium coverage) but still maintaining the natural, subtle "no make up makeup look" I strive for. Not drying, not flaky, with glowy finish but not greasy looking. A little goes a long way. I've experimented applying it in various way, but in my case it appears to be working best with a beauty blender. I chose the shade 'Buff' that is meant for fair skin with neutral undertones and it's well suited for my skin tone. I'm always anxious choosing shades online because many times it's either a hit or a miss. Thankfully the shade I got is a good match.
