Use self assessment tickets to intentionally engage students and make them a part of the learning process. 👏🏻 Use self assessment tickets when you’re teaching new skills. They can be used for any content area. ❤️ State the learning goal at the beginning of your lesson and ask students to rate their level of understanding before you start the lesson. Teach your lesson and then at the end, restate your learning goal and ask students to self assess their understanding. 🥰 Students should complete an independent practice that matches the learning goal and then staple their ticket to their work.
