The Playroom! After years of staycations with friends and our young children, we knew that a holiday rental well equipped for kids of all ages was an absolute must. Maybe you’re rained in or maybe you’re all worn out after a day exploring, but having a dedicated space for the mini humans to enjoy makes a huge difference to the feeling of actually being on holiday. At 10 and 8, Mahla and Kit love this room (they were in here for hours yesterday during the ☔️) It’s a bit of a novelty for them as so many of these toys and books were theirs and they can rediscover the joy of playing with them. A special shout out for this activity table we bought from @mutable.design (now owned by @stokkebaby ) six years ago - it was such a good investment. From a dolls house, to Duplo/Lego bases, puzzles and board games - it does so much and it was perfectly rehomed here for others to enjoy. We are big on imaginary play too and there is plenty to choose from, including vintage classics from Fisher Price which, decades later, still can’t be beaten. We haven’t forgotten wet play either - new silicone toys have been added to the bathroom for fun in the tub 🛁 We will be introducing a desk to this room too so that it can also be a work from home space - when kids aren’t around!
