Happy Monday, cousins! Lots of new faces here so I thought it might be a good time for a quick reintroduction. So here goes! 1. My (real) name is Blake—34/F/Chicago (if you’re old enough to understand that AOL reference, you’re definitely in the right place! Welcome. There’s knee cream in the goodie bag under your seat.) I’m an IP attorney turned full-time content creator. 2. I’m originally from Macon, GA. But I’ve lived in Atlanta, NYC and New Orleans while attending school at Spelman, NYU, and Tulane Law. All that education and my heart still beats to the rhythm of trap music and I firmly believe ginger ale is medicine. I grew up in foster care from 8-18 so it’s a cause near and dear to my heart and you’ll see it come up here a lot. 3. I’m probably one of the most organized people you will ever meet—in real life and on the internet. So everything you’re looking for—outfit links, my hair “color”, apt decor, favorite Chicago restaurants, contact info, etc.—is already saved in an easy to find spot on my profile and labeled accordingly. These folks I call cousins have absolutely NO act right when it comes to shopping and they don’t believe in saving nothing for nobody! If it’s still in stock when I post it, run...don’t walk.
